Hey everyone, it’s Rundelya OF model here! Today, I want to talk about something crucial for all models working with agencies: how to evaluate whether your agency is truly supporting your growth or if it’s time to consider a change.

Working with an agency should be a partnership where you gain access to the best tools, a dedicated team, and effective strategies — not just a handover of your page for management. Unfortunately, many agencies promise growth but fail to deliver. You might find your income stagnating or even declining, while you hear the same excuses month after month:

— “Don’t worry, it’s just temporary.”
— “We’re working on it; you just need to be patient.”
— “It’s not the season; everyone is experiencing this.”

While seasonality can be a factor, if your agency uses it as an endless excuse without adapting their strategy to current realities, that’s a red flag.

I’ve heard countless stories from other models about their struggles with ineffective agencies. Sometimes, models don’t realize how much they’re being held back because they lack a point of comparison for what a good agency should provide.

How to Know If Your Agency Isn’t Doing Its Job

Here are five signs you should never ignore:

🚨 You Don’t Have Full Access to Your Account

If you don’t have access to your own account, that’s a direct breach of trust.

In a bad agency, you might see: 💢 Limited access to your account, with the agency logging in themselves and not providing you with passwords.
💢 When you request access, you hear excuses like, “Why do you need it? We handle everything.”

This is a serious warning sign. Your account is your business, and you have the right to see what’s happening.

How it should be: ✅ You can log into your account anytime to check statistics, sales, and messages.

In good agency, models always have access to their accounts and can see how things are being managed. There are no restrictions or hidden processes. 🙂

🚨 You Don’t Understand How You’re Being Promoted

Every model should know what tools are being used for their growth. If your agency doesn’t explain its promotional strategy, it’s likely they’re not doing much at all. 🤨

In a bad agency, you might find: 💢 You have no idea where your subscribers are coming from or how the agency is spending its budget.
💢 When you ask about promotion, you hear, “Don’t worry, everything is going according to plan,” but you’ve never seen that plan.

How it should be: ✅ The agency clearly explains which specific methods are being used: social media, SFS, paid traffic.
✅ There are forecasts for subscribers and income, rather than working blindly.

Normal agency always explain to models which traffic channels are being used, what’s working, and what we’re testing next. Normal agency provide access to statistics and all metrics so models understand where their account is headed. 🙂

🚨 Financial Results Are Low and Not Growing, Terms Change Unilaterally

The percentage an agency takes doesn’t determine its quality.

There are agencies that take 90% but generate $200,000-$500,000 a month, which is impressive. Conversely, some take 15% but the model only earns $2,000 a month — that’s a failure.

In a bad agency, you might see: 💢 Content is sold for pennies.
💢 The agency suddenly changes its percentage without discussing it with you first.

How it should be: ✅ The agency consistently works on growing and maintaining your income, rather than just taking its cut.
✅ The percentage is fixed and doesn’t change without prior discussion.
✅ Chatters know how to sell content at a reasonable price without undercutting just to make a sale.
✅ Relationships with fans are developed, even if it doesn’t bring immediate income — this work is done for future potential.

In perfect agency, models receive their payments directly and manage their finances. Perfect agency don’t take payments or control finances for the models.

🚨 You Don’t Know Who Is Managing Your Account

In a bad agency, chatters change every two weeks, and you have no idea who is working on your page.

In super agency, every model knows their team. Super agency assign a personal administrator who explains all processes and is responsible for results. 🙂

🚨 The Agency Isn’t Investing in Your Growth

A good agency works on the model’s growth, not just managing their account. They analyze the market and test new promotional tools, ensuring that traffic isn’t limited to one method, with all efforts directed toward results.

When Is It Time to Leave?

If your agency:

💢 Doesn’t give you access to your account and finances.
💢 Doesn’t explain how you’re being promoted.
💢 Hides analytics and doesn’t provide reports.
💢 Doesn’t work on growing and maintaining your earnings, only taking a percentage of what you already have.
💢 Changes the terms of cooperation without discussion or warning.
💢 Doesn’t assign you a personal manager, and the team keeps changing.

Then it’s not developing you; it’s just taking its cut.

Time is your most valuable resource. If your agency is wasting it instead of multiplying it, it’s time to change teams.

In my next post, I’ll share the key criteria that can help you immediately distinguish a strong agency from a mediocre one. Subscribe to me so you don’t miss it.💌
