The Night of the Arrest
On August 17th, I was in Wadi Rum, enjoying my time in this beautiful country, when everything changed. In the middle of the night, police stormed into my hotel room. I had no idea I was in any trouble. They cut off the Wi-Fi for the entire area, and then five men entered my room — only one of whom was in uniform. I was completely taken by surprise.
They confiscated all my belongings and communication devices, and since they spoke Arabic, I had no clue what was happening. It was terrifying.

The Realization of My Situation
I was taken to the police station, where a translator finally explained to me that I was being accused of distributing pornographic content. They had discovered my OnlyFans account and demanded that I open it in front of a room full of men who started looking at my photos and videos. I felt so vulnerable and exposed.
I suspect that the hotel owner might have reported me after learning about my profession through social media. I ended up spending 17 hours in police custody before I was allowed to call my family back in Florida. Then, I was taken to court without any legal representation.

Stuck in Legal Limbo
After my arrest, I found myself stuck in Jordan for the next two weeks. I managed to hire a lawyer who explained that OnlyFans is illegal in Jordan, even though I created my account five years ago. A search of my phone and computer showed that I hadn’t filmed any content while in the country.
Despite this, I am still unable to leave. I feel like I’m in limbo, not knowing what will happen next. The charges against me could lead to a minimum of six months in prison, along with a hefty fine of up to 15,000 dinars (around 1.9 million rubles). I’ve reached out to the U.S. Embassy for assistance, hoping that they can help me navigate this nightmare.
