Every year, Amazon publishes a list of the 100 most popular books, and I eagerly await the opportunity to share my favorite books from this list with you. This year, I’ve chosen five books that, in my opinion, are among the best on Amazon in 2024.

3. “King of Greed” by Ana Huang
This book is an Amazon editor’s choice for the best books of 2024, and I agree with this selection. “King of Greed” is a story about Dominic Davenport, who rose from nothing to become the king of Wall Street, but is never satisfied. When he loses the one person who ever thought he was enough, he realizes that there may be more to life than wealth and fame. But will he be able to win her back?

4. “Lady Tan’s Circle of Women” by Lisa See
This book is a bestseller in the historical Chinese fiction category, and I can see why. “Lady Tan’s Circle of Women” is an engaging story about Tan Yunxian, who was born into an elite family and was raised by her grandparents to be of use. When she is married off in a strategic alliance, her mother-in-law forbids her from seeing her friend and helping the women and girls in the household. But Yunxian is not one to give up, and she finds a way to break free from tradition and lead a meaningful life.
5. “Hell Bent” by Leigh Bardugo
This book is an Amazon editor’s choice for the best books of 2023, and I agree with this selection. “Hell Bent” is a story about Galaxy “Alex” Stern, who is determined to rescue Darlington from purgatory, even if it means giving up her future at Lethe and Yale University. When professors start dying, Alex realizes that it’s not just a series of accidents, and she must confront the monsters of her past and the darkness that’s embedded in the very walls of the university.
